I can't believe it has been since March that I have been on here. Well my Mom has entered a nursing home. Dad still in house. They miss each other so much it is so cute and adorable how much love can exist after 63 years of marriage.
My daughter Jaimee got married on July 5th to Sophorn we call him Sam. They make an adorable couple.

Had a great service and reception. There were lot's of photos so I will show you a close up of the couple as well.

    We had so much fun that day it was very nice, DJ great. Photobooth went over like crazy. All the families got along great.


Matthew just had his first birthday on Sept 6,2014

I have started volunteering at the hospital with a new program called HELP.  It is for elderly and long term patients.
I hope to add more very soon I won't wait so long.

Been a while since I have been on. My daughter is in high gear for her wedding, slowly coming together.
I just finished a book called Unbroken....by Laura Hillenbrand
I was very surprised that I liked it as much as I did. It is about an Olympic runner, who enlists to the air force during WWII.  It takes on many curves and bends won't let you put it down. The main character Louie, becomes a POW in Japan and the treatment he and his men receive is just mind boggling.  Great Story and a Great Plot.  Angelina Jolie is producing the movie to be released Dec. 25th 2014.
I haven't had time to paint in a while, tomorrow I plan a full day of it.  Been walking some. Trying to shed a few pounds before the wedding in July.
My councillor Mary is going to be off work for quite a while, not sure what is going to happen. That is kinda scary.

off topic once again:  I wish I could find a dress for the wedding, I have nothing yet. Ben, (remember I told you I would talk  about him again) my grandson is 3yrs and he is going to be the ringbearer.
My nieces girl (4) is a flower girl and so is Ella from Sam's side of the family.  I have been looking for the gifts for the wedding party and think I have picked what I would like for the ring bearer and the 2 flower girls I will have to run it by Jaimee and Sam.
I have started driving again. went out for the first time this winter yesterday. went out for a little bit today.  Planning a big supper because Jaimee and Sam will be here and they will stay the night.

Been busy trying to help my daughter Jaimee as she prepares for her wedding, ( July 5. 2014)
Did the guest list up today. Last Sat. we went and picked out her dress it is on order.  Better be here in time.  The venue has been selected Dalewood Golf Club.  Invitations still need to  be done. but she had me order a sample of one over the internet it will take a bit to get here.  Her & Sam went to the beach and came back with wood for a sign they want to make. and they got  lot's of beach stones that they are using as their guest book.
I hope Jaimee doesn't feel pressured into the dress. I really liked it but she has to love it.
I have had lot's of homework the last 2 days. Brad has been away so I am trying to get it done.

Well I missed Little Matthew Christening, too much snow.  I sure hope they send some photos and I still need photos of Ben when he was a baby, all my photos have gone??????
We are planning a wedding around here, lot's to do and get venue's and church finale I keep giving Jaimee and Sam ideas but we haven't firmed anything up yet.  I  kinda like my idea of using board games as centrepieces rather than flowers. good way for everyone to mix and get to know each other.
they can't be anything long ie: monopoly, clue.   Stuff like headbanz and drawing a picture. I found a few that I think would be great. But I have to let them decide.
We are all so sick of snow up here, it just keeps coming.

When are the baby birds going to come out. it has been the worst winter I can remember.
Would love any suggestions for the wedding as in party favours and such some unique ideas.
by the way I never showed you Jaimee's ring this picture just doesn't do it justice.

But she is quite happy with it and  we are all excited about it.

My cats are driving me crazy lately all they want to do is eat. But then they throw up. can anybody tell me how to keep a cat from throwing up so much.

They are good cats they just drive me nuts about throwing up and hungry all the time, I think that might be because Brad bought them a new type of cat food, it just isn't filling them up.
Oh well have to wait till they are done this bag.

I am having some trouble with my blogger acct.  I was on line with a support tech for a different matter and he had me change all my settings for everything.  so now my passwords are no good and have to reset new ones. but it says on my blogger acct. that I am not using the right browser and when I checked what they recommend I have all those. Go figure :(

Did I tell you Ben left a message on my phone on Valentines Day. He was singing "Happy Valentines Day to you"  just precious I have put it on my Ipod.

Today my brother Doug under went some very serious surgery.  He has cancer and had already gone through Chemo and Radiation, but he still needed the surgery. They worked on the front first then had to turn him over to go through the back they had to break a couple of ribs.  The surgeon said he did well 6 hours later that he was in recovery and had lost a lot of blood. He will take about a year to recover but they are sure they got it all.  Thank God for smart educated surgeon eh.

The weather had a couple days break where it wasn't freezing or we were in a blizzard.

I finished my 2nd painting. I am very much an amateur and have never painted in my life.
My first painting is hanging on the walls of the Community Mental Health Centre, pretty cool.
This one is much better of 2 pups at Christmas and these are not paint by number.

So this is suppose to be my fun blog it hasn't seemed that way lately to much going on.

But hey today I took a shower and barked at the neighbours dogs when they barked.
See how important my life is.
Oh yeah Big News.... my daughter Jaimee got engaged today to her boyfriend Sophorn ( Sam to us).
No idea when the wedding will happen but it is a BIG start for her.

It has been a little while since I was on. Many things happening, I have taken up painting some oil some acrylic. I am not very good at this hobby but determined to go forth.
We have had so much snow up here. I am in Ontario Canada.
Also hard with the Olympics going on. Another snow day for Brad, can't make it into work.
Ben my Grandson broke his arm and he is left handed.

 

 

His little brother Matthew has been sick in the hospital ICU. He has influenza and phenomena.

poor little guy is only 5 months old.  They say he is on the mend.

 

I had some appointments this past while nothing exciting. I had tried out this new doctor and I have never met such an egotistical asshole.  I won't be seeing him again.

My brother has surgery on the 21st of Feb. to remove a cancerous tumor. They did chemo and radiation but that didn't get rid of it. He is very positive about the whole process.
